The Technical Director of STRIPES Football Academy, Mr Koullis Mitsingas, attended a deeply moving memorial event dedicated to coach Sofoulis Stylianou, which took place at Lyceum of Today. Coach Sofoulis was a former coach of Mr Mitsingas and left a significant mark both on Cypriot football and on the development of many athletes.

During the event, Mr Mitsingas shared a few heartfelt words, honouring the memory of his former coach and highlighting his contribution to shaping strong characters and a clear football philosophy. The presence of respected figures in Cypriot football, such as Konstantinos Charalambidis, Nektarios Alexandrou and Alexis Pittas, added special value and importance to the occasion.

Mr Mitsingas’s participation followed an honorary invitation from the school’s Director, Mr Savvas Paraskevas, further reinforcing the educational nature of the event and the message connecting sport with education.
