STRIPES collaborates with Dr. Christos Anagnostopoulos, an internationally recognised expert in sport governance and social responsibility. His role is to guide the academy in operating with the highest professional standards and supporting its long-term development.
Dr. Anagnostopoulos is founder and chairholder of the UNESCO Chair on Governance and Social Responsibility in Sport and a core member of UNESCO’s Fit for Life network. He teaches at Hamad Bin Khalifa University in Qatar and collaborates with universities in Norway and Canada.
With more than 140 scientific publications, editorial roles in leading sport management journals, and research projects exceeding 3 million USD, he brings global knowledge and experience to STRIPES.
He has worked with organisations such as Generation Amazing, the Cyprus Sport Organization, SIGA, the European Union Delegation to Qatar, and UNESCO offices. His guidance strengthens STRIPES in areas of governance, athlete development, and professional growth.
